This container spreader is equipped on 40t gantry crane to load and unload containers. The spreader is light, no power, easy to operate and cheap. There are two kinds of spreader 32t-20' and 40t-40'.
Operation : first put the four main lifting ropes riggings of the spreaders and one turning stretch wire rope in the hook of the gantry crane. Before lifting, the guider points to open direction. By the localizers at the four sides of the spreader and the skilled operation, the four turning locks of spreader are locked into the corner, and then the hook is started slowly. Lay container down: After hanging containers to be scheduled position, keep the hook fall about 1-2m and then lift the hook again. Maintenance : The link pole of the spreader and turning mechanism should be opened to check regularly and add lubricating oil to make every part turn fluently. If there are obvious damages and distortion, spreader and wire rope should stop work at once.
